Shannon Lawler, MS, LMFT
My practice is dedicated to working with individuals and families to support healthy relationships and wellness through various phases of life transitions.
When a child is facing an ongoing emotional issue, play therapy can be an effective way for them to communicate their feelings and thoughts, as well as learn new strategies for emotional regulation.
Mindful parenting is the practice of cultivating presence, both with your child, and with yourself, so that you are able to respond to any given situation with wisdom and compassion.
Mindful Pregnancy Groups
A therapy group supporting the mindful transition into motherhood. This is an opportunity to connect with yourself and others as you navigate the profound transformation that occurs during this stage.
Mindfulness-Based New Mother's Group
A therapy group with new mothers and their infants (pre-crawling) aimed at creating an atmosphere of support and connection, as well as building mindfulness skills to reduce stress and increase the ability to experience the present moment.
Home-Based Sessions for Postpartum Women
I am able to provide home-based therapy sessions for postpartum women in the West San Fernando Valley as scheduling permits.
If you are curious to learn more about how we can work together, I provide a free 20 minute consultation over the phone. During this time, we can determine what you are looking for, and if I might be a right fit for you or your child/family. My current fees will also be discussed during this conversation.
